Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know

Answers to the most common questions about how Axiom People works, for both candidates and employers.

Candidate Questions
Is it really free for candidates?
Yes, and that will not change. There is no subscription, no hidden fee, and no premium tier to upgrade into. Employers fund the platform through membership, so candidates never pay anything.
How does the anonymity work?
Your profile shows your skills, experience, qualifications, and what you are looking for. It does not show your name, current employer, photo, or anything else that could identify you. Employers see what you can do rather than who you are. Revealing your identity to a specific employer is a decision only you make, whenever you are ready.
Can my current employer or boss find out?
No. You can block your current employer outright, and that block cannot be lifted or bypassed. It is built into how the platform works, not an optional setting.
What does "peer-verified" mean?
A colleague you invite confirms your experience and credentials. Think of it less as a reference check and more as a peer endorsement: employers gain confidence that your profile is accurate, without learning who you are. Learn more about verification.
What happens when an employer is interested?
You are notified discreetly, and the next move is yours. Reveal your full profile and start a conversation, or don't. There is no obligation either way. Early conversations run through the platform's secure messaging rather than email.

Employer Questions
How much does membership cost?
There are two ways to hire on Axiom People. With a membership you hire using credits — a predictable monthly cost and no placement fee, whatever the salary. Or pay as you go at €199 per month for platform access plus a flat 12% per hire — full access to all features, cancel any month. Both sit well below the 15–25% charged by traditional agencies, and both are covered by the 90-day free replacement guarantee. See full plans and pricing.
How are candidates vetted?
A colleague verifies each candidate's experience, and Axiom reviews the profile before it goes live. The pool you are browsing is curated and genuinely interested, rather than the open, unscreened pool you would find on a job board.
Who can join as an employer?
Every employer is vetted before they can browse. Organisations are approved against our standards for candidate experience and professionalism, and that filtering protects candidates on the platform.
How is this different from LinkedIn or a job board?
The professionals you most want to hire are usually not actively job-hunting, so they will not turn up on a job board or show as open to work on LinkedIn. Axiom People reaches these passive candidates directly, connecting you with people who are quietly open to the right opportunity rather than actively broadcasting it.

General Questions
Is Axiom People live?
Yes. Candidates can register and build an anonymous profile now, and approved employers can already browse and express interest. Register here.
What is The Going Rate?
The Going Rate is our free salary benchmark for the Irish market. Candidates can check what they are worth and employers can benchmark a salary or an offer, with no registration, name, or CV required. Ranges are built from industry salary data and anonymous salary submissions, and sharpen as more people contribute.
Is my data safe?
Yes. The platform runs on EU-hosted, GDPR-compliant infrastructure. Data stays encrypted and is never sold, and a profile can be deleted at any time. Read our privacy policy.
Who is behind Axiom People?
Axiom People was founded by Derek Fitzgerald, who has placed hundreds of candidates across Irish financial services and is known among employers for turning down easy placements that were not the right fit. It is a trading name of Tailormade Recruitment Ltd, a recruitment consultancy with deep roots across Ireland's professional services sector. Learn more about us.
